1. Who we are
Beagle HR Ltd (“Beagle HR”, “we”, “us”) is a UK-registered HR consultancy. Our registered address is Weybridge, Surrey. We are the data controller for personal data processed via this website.

2. What data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details (name, email, phone, business name) when you complete a contact form, request a call, or send us a CV.
- Usage data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) via analytics cookies, where consented.
- Marketing preferences if you sign up to receive content from us.
- Recruitment data (CV, role preferences) if you register your interest with us as a candidate.
- Client engagement data (HR matters, employee information shared with us under a consultancy engagement) under a separate written data-processing agreement.
3. How we use your data
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract: to deliver consultancy services to clients.
- Legitimate interests: to respond to enquiries, send relevant content to existing clients, and improve our services.
- Consent: for analytics, marketing emails, and recruitment candidate registration.
- Legal obligation: for tax, HMRC, and employment-record retention.
4. How long we keep data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:
- Enquiry data: 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Client engagement data: 6 years from end of engagement, in line with limitation periods.
- Candidate CVs registered with us: 24 months, or until you ask us to delete.
- Marketing list: until you unsubscribe.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data with the following categories of recipients, under written data-processing agreements:
- Cloud hosting and email providers (UK and EEA-based)
- HRIS partners (Breathe HR) where you are a client using that platform
- Payroll bureau partners where we provide payroll administration
- HMRC, ICO, ACAS and other regulators where legally required
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA without appropriate safeguards.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion (where there is no overriding legal basis)
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability (where applicable)
- Withdraw consent at any time for any consent-based processing
- Complain to the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data

7. Cookies
This site uses cookies. We use a consent banner (powered by GDPR Cookie Consent) to give you control. You can change your preferences at any time using the floating cookie icon on the bottom-left of every page.
The categories of cookies we use:
- Necessary: required for the site to work (login, security). Always on.
- Analytics: Google Analytics (with consent only). Helps us understand which pages are useful.
- Marketing: Facebook Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag (with consent only). Helps us measure ad effectiveness.
8. Employment Rights Act 2025 specifics
Under the Employment Rights Act 2025, additional rights apply to employee data, including new statutory frameworks for SSP, day-one rights, and protected disclosures. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client as a processor (i.e. the client is the controller), the lawful bases and your rights are explained in the relevant data-processing agreement.

We will update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Material changes will be flagged in our next newsletter to existing contacts.
